The TOPRAN Distributor rotor arm (101 018) is an original-equipment-quality ignition system component manufactured by TOPRAN. Positioned directly on top of the rotating distributor shaft beneath the distributor cap, its primary function is to accept high-voltage current from the ignition coil via the central carbon brush and distribute it sequentially to the individual spark plug terminals inside the cap. Featuring an integrated suppression resistor, it regulates current spikes to reduce electromagnetic radio-frequency interference (RFI) while ensuring a strong, reliable spark for efficient fuel combustion.
