The ELRING Rocker cover gasket (217.484) is a high-grade engine sealing component manufactured by ELRING. This rocker cover gasket (also referred to as a valve cover gasket) is engineered to provide an exact structural seal for the top-end cylinder head cover assembly. Its primary design function is to retain engine lubricating oil completely within the valvetrain area, preventing external fluid leaks onto hot engine components while protecting internal valvetrain elements from ambient dirt, moisture, and debris contamination.
