The MEYLE Top strut mount (100 512 1008) is an original-equipment-quality rear upper suspension strut mounting manufactured by MEYLE. Installed at the highest anchoring point of the rear shock absorber assembly, its primary function is to securely couple the suspension strut to the vehicle’s unibody chassis tower. It acts as a structural vibration isolator, utilizing a premium elastomer damping core to absorb harsh road impacts, tire harmonics, and vertical chassis oscillations before they can transfer into the passenger cabin. Replacing worn mounts restores rear-end stability, eliminates structural knocking sounds, and prevents premature shock absorber wear.
